#4 Staged

Issue #4 of Photography+ looks at some of the many ways in which photographers stage, set up or direct images. Either through performance and character development, seen in the work of Ilona Szwarc and Camille Lévêque, or through collaborative direction between sitter and artist seen in new work by Hoda Afshar. The issue also features Barbara Probst who for almost 20 years has been using multiple cameras to simultaneously document the same moment. We also look back at work from the archive published by Photoworks in 2003 featuring Philip-Lorca diCorcia.
