Volunteer for Photoworks in London, 17-19 May
Are you excited about photography and contemporary art? We're looking for volunteers to help deliver two events in London on 17-19 May.
We’re seeking volunteers to support our programmes at Peckham 24 and Offprint as invigilators and survey takers/evaluators. We’d love to hear from you if:
- you’re over 18
- you live in London (or have a base there)
- you’re able to commit to a minimum of three 3-hour shifts across the three days at either Offprint or Peckham 24.
Photoworks at Peckham 24 explores the intersections between dance, music, movement and community through contemporary photography, performance and video. The event is part of three days of photography, performance and music at Peckham 24. Artists include Lotte Andersen, Marie Barrett, Amar Ediriwira, Bernice Mulenga, Lilian Nejatpour & Rebecca Salvadori.
Together with Tate and Luma Foundation, Photoworks is also curating the public programme at Offprint, the annual art publishing fair at Tate Modern. Over three days we will present a programme of artist talks, as well as a live stream from Peckham 24, to visitors of the fair in the Turbine Hall.
Why get involved?
Volunteering with Photoworks is great way to gain experience and new contacts. You’ll get first-hand experience of running exhibitions and events; engage with a dynamic group of arts professionals, curators and artists; and make new friends. We reward all our volunteers with a Photoworks gift and happily provide references.
