Exhibition visit: from 5pm (exhibition closes at 6pm)

Photoworks are partnering with Barbican to deliver one of our popular professional development events

The session will begin with a visit to the Barbican exhibition Another Kind of Life: Photography on the Margins, followed by a continuing professional development (CPD) session facilitated by influential writer and performer, Dean Atta, and experienced artist filmmaker and facilitator, Annis Joslin.

Activities will include creative writing and photography. The session will provide guidance, advice and ideas for all youth workers or teachers delivering the Citizenship or PSHE Curriculum who want to raise awareness of and explore LGBTQ+ issues.

This twilight CPD event is presented by Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning, run by Photoworks and accompanies the Into The Outside heritage youth project.
