Edward, Identity & Self

Young People’s Workshop: Identity and Self Portraits

Central Brighton
£50
Tuesday 25 October
10am - 4pm

Delivered by Sharp Shots Photo Club

Using BPB as inspiration, your teen will learn to take interesting photographs using camera mechanics and composition. We’ll visit exhibitions, looking at images and discussing how to translate ideas of identity into our own work. We’ll encourage students to think about their own identities and how to show them in their photographs. Our students will learn how their camera makes a photograph, through understanding aperture, shutter speed and ISO. We’ll work together on fun, inspiring activities to encourage their own photographic identities and go outdoors and photograph together on the streets of Brighton. Our students will finish the day with a great set of image. Beginners welcome!
