Fundraiser: Supporting Artists

Supporting Artists

For artists, taking part in a festival can be a career-changing opportunity. Your support could help artists travel to Brighton, receive mentoring and professional feedback, take part in networking opportunities, attend portfolio reviews, share their work with new audiences and connect with industry professionals. It could also help artists document exhibitions and events, creating valuable resources that support in their future applications, commissions and career development.

By supporting artists, you're helping photographers at pivotal moments in their careers access opportunities, build confidence, develop their practice and become part of a thriving photography community.

Fundraiser: Exhibitions & Events

Exhibitions & Events

Artists and audiences deserve to see work exhibited to the highest possible standard. Your donation helps cover the production costs that make this possible, from high-quality printing, framing and interpretation to artwork transport, exhibition design and event production. Every contribution helps us present artists' work with the quality, care and craftsmanship it deserves.

By supporting Exhibitions & Events, you're helping us ensure every exhibition and event reflects the quality of the work it celebrates, giving artists and audiences the experience they deserve.

Fundraiser: Community Engagement

Community Engagement

Everyone should have the opportunity to discover, make, understand and experience photography, regardless of background, income or location.

Your donation helps develop creativity and provide meaningful routes into continued participation through artist-led workshops, school visits, travel to the festival, family activities, youth programmes, volunteering and hands-on learning experiences. It also supports the resources, materials and specialist equipment that make these opportunities possible.

By supporting Community & Learning, you're helping more people discover the creative, personal and professional opportunities that photography can open up.

Fundraiser: Access & Inclusion

Access & Inclusion

Photoworks champions photography for everyone. We believe everyone should be able to experience our festival in ways that work for them.

Your donation helps us remove barriers across every part of the festival, supporting BSL tours, Easy Read interpretation, accessible workshops, captioning, travel assistance and other practical adjustments that enable more people to take part.

By supporting Access & Inclusion, you're helping us ensure the Photoworks Festival is welcoming, accessible and open to everyone.

Fundraiser: Photoworks Future

Photoworks Future

Photoworks is more than a festival. Behind every exhibition, event and opportunity for artists is the team, infrastructure and expertise that makes it all possible.

Your donation helps support the organisational costs that keep Photoworks running, from staff time and planning to insurance, rent and essential day-to-day operations. These foundations enable us to deliver an ambitious festival now while continuing to champion photography into the future.

By supporting Photoworks Future, you're helping ensure Photoworks can continue supporting artists, engaging communities and delivering ambitious photography for this festival and for years to come.
