Born 1973, Aix-en-Provence, France. Lives and works in Arles, France and New York USA. Mathieu Asselin began working in film production in Venezuela at 16. When he returned to France, he joined the photo agency L’oeil du Sud. Between 2005 and 2017, he lived in New York where honed his documentary photography skills.
His work, which has been the object of numerous individual and collective exhibitions, concerns itself with documentary photography and portraiture.
