Chloe Rosser is a London born photographer. Her work looks at our relationship with the human body and what it is to be human. She has just released her new book, Form & Function. Rosser studied Photography at Falmouth University and has exhibited across the UK as well as in Europe. She has been featured in publications including British Journal of Photography, The Guardian, Feature Shoot, P3 and Metro.

@Chloe_Rosser_ Inclusivity is really important to me. While shooting this project, I’ve worked with people of different skin tones, body shapes, ages (20 – 70), sexualities and genders (female, male, gender fluid and trans). I work with all of them in exactly the same manner, representing them on equal terms. At the end of the day, we’re all made of the same flesh and bone. . @Chloe_Rosser_ When I’m photographing two or more people, I sometimes work with couples, but also strangers. I ask people to get very close and personal. @Chloe_Rosser_ I thought I would show you some images today of where the project came from. I had been photographing the body for a while, cropping it and abstracting it in different ways. Nothing was really sticking for me, until I took a photo of someone in this pose. It was definite shift from what I had been making. It was so strange and arresting because I was showing the whole body as it appeared in that moment. And yet it looked unreal. .
