Max Gavrich is an artist and educator. Across photographs, video, and installation, his recent works examine the relationship between bodies, images and objects through processes of aggregation and assembly, deformation and breakdown. Previous exhibitions include Casemore Kirkeby, Marlborough Gallery, Winter Street Gallery, Five Points Annex, the Vermont Center for Photography, the Museo San Rocco, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, among others. He holds an MFA from Yale University and a BA from Bard College.
