Resource by Emily Ryalls.

Step 1: You will need...

  • A sheet of A4 paper

  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Step 3: Fold in half...

Start by folding your sheet of paper in half.

Use your ruler to slide along the fold, making sure it is neat.

Step 4: More folding...

Fold in half again.

Keep using your ruler as you go to apply pressure to the creases.

Step 5: Last fold!

Fold in half again for the final time.

Step 6: Open up your booklet...

Unfold your booklet, opening it out flat.

Step 7: Fold in half lengthways

Fold your paper in half lengthways.

Step 8: Make a cut...

Cut along the centre fold towards the midpoint of the paper.

Make sure that you cut from the side of the paper that has the fold.

Step 9: Open back up...

Open your paper up again, laying it flat on the table.

Step 10: Refold your zine!

Refold your zine into one booklet.

Once your zine takes shape, you’re ready to fill it with photographs!
