We are excited to present Tamsin Green as the latest artist taking part in our Digital Residency programme!

Tamsin is a London-based artist and designer whose practice combines walking, photography, writing and bookmaking. She is the founder of manual.editions (MNL) and the Sustainable Photobook Publishing (SPP) network, and is currently a TECHNE/AHRC practice-based researcher at CREAM, University of Westminster.

Her current research considers the photobook as a physical site for a regenerative relationship with the environment. Through her own practice and in collaboration with an industry partner she is developing practical and critical frameworks for sustainability that rethink the design, production values and distribution of the Photobook. She is particularly interested in how more-than-human perspectives can be used to reframe publishing processes on different scales.

Tamsin’s background is in architecture, working in international practice for 18 years. She holds an undergraduate degree from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL (2003), and a master’s from Tokyo Institute of Technology (2006). She has published four handmade photobooks and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions.
