The next issue of Photography+, titled Un/Stable: Lands, Anxieties, Dreams, will explore the fragile and shifting conditions shaping our lives, environments, and collective futures. We are interested in photographic work that responds to instability, uncertainty, and transformation across lands, bodies, communities, identities, histories, and memories.
Submissions may engage with displacement, ecological and social change, anxiety, resilience, care, resistance, or the ways people adapt to unsettled circumstances. We are also interested in how photography can hold space for possibility. How can images help us understand changing realities, imagine different futures, and reveal the connections between personal experience and wider social, political, or environmental conditions?
We invite community submissions responding to this theme. Anyone is welcome to apply, wherever you are in the world. The selected artist will receive £80, and their image will be featured in the upcoming issue of Photography+.
Please submit one image before the deadline, August 31st, 2026.
