Artists In Conversation: Africa Barrero-Alexander and Åsa Johannesson

 Join us for an artists in conversation event hosted by Peckham 24 which brings together Africa Barrero-Alexander and Åsa Johannesson to discuss the themes of their artistic practices within the framework of Johannesson’s recent publication, Queer Methodology for Photography.   

Africa Barrero-Alexander is the winner of the Peckham 24 x Photo Fringe Open Call, and his image Seventh Day from the ongoing series This Body Was Carved from Stone, is on display in Fabrica’s In Between Gallery from 14 – 27th October.  Åsa Johannesson is an artist working across photography, installation and writing. Her practice concerns the relationship between queerness, representation and material knowledge production.
