Jonny Briggs is an artist in search of a lost childhood. Through performative installations, comic metaphor, and photomontage, Briggs creates images that re-capture childhood.
Briggs graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2011 and has most recently had a solo exhibition, Ancestral Home at Simon Oldfield Gallery, London.

Jonny Briggs was selected from an open call to take part in Jerwood Encounters: Family Politics curated by Photoworks. This exhibition presents new commissions and existing work by six early career photographers relating to ‘Family Politics’ – the curatorial theme of the first issue of Photoworks Annual.
