Recorded at Photo London 2017, celebrated Magnum photographer Susan Meiselas discusses the eight photos she'd take with her to a desert island.

About Susan Meiselas
For over forty years, American documentary photographer Susan Meiselas has focussed on human rights issues and social justice. She is particularly known for her work in Latin America. Her intense images are said to be “as much at home in newspapers and magazines as they are on museum walls”.
Meiselas joined Magnum in 1976 and became a full member in 1980. She has won numerous international awards including the Robert Capa Gold Medal Award (1979) for “outstanding courage and reporting”, the American Society of Magazine Photographers (ASMP) Award (1982), MacArthur Fellowship (1992), Cornell Capa Infinity Award (2005) plus the Krasna-Kraus Book of the Year and LUMA Book Award at Rencontres d’Arles (2009) for Susan Meiselas, In History.
