Our youth showcase provides a platform for photography by 16-18 year olds

‘First project’ – based on mirrored images, inspired by photographer Nicholas Kennedy Sitton.
In this project I originally set out to take shots of urban landscapes. I was successful in this plan but I needed to change the appearance of the photos in order to take the work further and find a creative outcome for my project. I enjoyed designing and experimenting on Photoshop. I feel that my creative use of Photoshop was my personal triumph because I used lots of different elements and styles. With Photoshop I was able to create good effects and use interesting tools such as a polygon lasso. I really enjoyed making these images.

Submission to our Youth Showcase is open to all 16-18 year olds whether they are studying photography formally or not.
