Four photography students from the University of Brighton have been photographing people and places across Brighton & Hove. Responding to Biennial themes, their work investigates the life and style of our city, exploring the politics of age, gender and representation, and the industry of fashion.

A co-commission with the Together the People festival – Brighton’s independent, green-field, music and arts festival.

The two Brighton festivals are teaming up for the first time to celebrate new local talent and will be running family friendly workshops and showing a selection of the students new work at the Together the People Festival 3-4 September in Preston Park, Brighton.
