Instagram Takeover: Alexey Vasilyev

Calvert 22 Foundation and The Calvert Journal name Alexey Vasilyev, Russian born photographer, as the 2020 winner of the New East Photo Prize.

Alexey Vasilyev was born in 1985 in Yakutia, Russia. He has been a member of the Russian Union of Photographers since 2017.

Vasilyev’s work has been published globally including media outlets such as The Guardian, National Geographic (Russia), Wired and Takie Dela (Russia).
