Hungarian photographer and associate professor of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Gábor Arion Kudász takes over our Instagram account.
Arion often incorporates staged and artificial elements into a documentary approach to photography. His early landscape oriented works concentrated on human interaction with the built and natural environment. He examined the absurdity and careless use of space as a natural resource. In his recent works, Arion narrowed his attention on the understanding of the relation between responsibility and ambition. He is currently involved in a research on the life-choices of youth, supported by a scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. His achievements were recognized by the Robert Capa Grand Prize, and he is a committed self-publisher of photo books.
