Viacheslav Poliakov (В’ячеслав Поляков) was born in 1986 in Kherson, Ukraine.
In 2007, he obtained a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Kherson State University, working mostly on abstract ink drawings. After university he started to work as a motion and graphic designer.
His first step as a media artist were to become a member of the “Totem” art community in Kherson.
In 2012, Viacheslav switched his interest to photography, and ever since combines his design career with personal photography projects. His interest in the medium revolves around it’s direct relation to reality and it’s ability to document our world.
As a photographer Viacheslav Poliakov took part in several group art projects and exhibitions in Ukraine, Austria, Georgia, Germany, Poland and Netherlands. He is now based in Lviv, Ukraine.
