What is family to you? Young students from the city of Brighton & Hove work with artists to create their own interpretations of family portraits.

Students from Portslade and Brighton Aldridge Community Academies have collaborated with three artists (James Casey, Alex Buckley and Marysa Dowling) to create their own staged family albums.

In facilitated workshops and inspired by artists such as Cindy Sherman and Thomas Demand the Yr 10 and Yr 11 students have produced giant backdrops and costumes to construct their fantasy group portraits.
