On the third day at Casa Nueva Bellota (formerly Wigwell Lodge) a bird appeared to have crashed into one of the windows. The blood on his beak was still fresh before I buried her. Later I discovered that almost fifty percent of the trees in the area exist thanks to birds burying acorns.
