PHOTOWORKS AT 30 – a year of celebrations announced marking 1995-2025
2025 marks 30 years of Photoworks. To celebrate our birthday, we are launching a range of exhibitions, events, and commissioned projects in some of the major arts and photography galleries across the UK and Europe, alongside residencies, a digital programme, celebratory events and a new Photoworks Annual.
Celebrating 30 Years of Championing Photography
We are excited to announce the Photoworks X MPB R&D Seed Grants awardees and a new publication opportunity for poetry and photography collaborations. These new projects join a range of exhibitions, events and more planned throughout the year.
Announcing Photoworks X MPB R&D Seed Grants Awardees
To celebrate 30 years of Photoworks, we have partnered with MPB to launch R&D Seed Grants supporting artists to develop their practice and make new work.
From over 450, 6 awardees were chosen to receive seed grants to support the development of new work. A big congratulations to:

Photo Poetry Publication Opportunity
To mark our 30th birthday, we are launching a new opportunity to publish work that combines poetry and photography. Developed by Photoworks and David Solo in collaboration with Jane & Jeremy, in this pilot project we will publish two existing projects as colour pamphlet publications. The successful artist/s will receive a fee of £1,000 and 10 copies of their finished publication.

Photoworks Friends & Shop Celebration
