Photoworks is looking for a Learning & Engagement Assistant!
This is a paid trainee role which will run for 6 months starting in September 2024.
This role is part of the Breakthrough Opportunities programme, which is open to any young person between the ages of 16 –25, with qualifications gained up to school or college level. This is aimed at young people who have found securing a meaningful job in the arts a challenge. (It is not suitable for those with qualifications at level 5 or above).
Working closely with the Learning team, you will be supporting the delivery of Photoworks’ award-winning learning and engagement programme. This will include supporting artist-led workshops with young people (including schools), planning and creating content for our youth social media channels and assisting with events management.
The role will be mostly home-based. However, some workshops and events will require travel to Brighton and Portsmouth.
