Photoworks has been developing ambitious partnership programmes with English Heritage since 2021 through Shout Out Loud, English Heritage’s national youth engagement programme.
Our partnership activity invites young people to explore their own sense of heritage through photography. Supported by artists and mentors across different projects including new commissions and Photography Clubs, young people have been sharing with us the stories they feel get left out of the history books, helping us discover alternative narratives around English heritage at this time.
