About this work:

Commissioned by Photoworks for Brighton Photo Biennial 2010: New Documents, curated by Martin Parr, renowned American photographer Alec Soth collaborated with his seven-year-old daughter, Carmen, to create a new body of work about Brighton. Exploring the city, Carmen took images that combine poetic and documentary sensibilities. Carmen enjoyed taking pictures of dogs best of all and this print demonstrates her low perspective and the freshness of her composition. Alec Soth is celebrated for his offbeat images, spurred by an avid curiosity, a wanderlust, and an openness to serendipity.

This limited-edition print was printed by theprintspace in 2010.

All orders will be posted by 17 December 2021.
