It presents a collection of papers delivered at the 2002 Photoforum conference, Photography, Philosophy, Technology held at the University of Brighton by leading theorists including Geoffrey Batchen, Pavel Büchler, Steve Edwards, David Green and Joanna Lowry, Laura Mulvey, Peter Osbourne, Olivier Richon and Richard Schiff.
