Jerwood/Photoworks Awardee Sam Laughlin, discusses his working practice, the process of making new work for the Awards and his long term plans for the future.
A group exhibition of work from winners of the second Jerwood/Photoworks Awards shows at Jerwood Space, London 17 January – 11 March 2018 followed by a UK tour including showings at Impressions Gallery and Belfast Exposed.
Sam Laughlin (b1990, U.K.) Sam studied Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, Newport. He has exhibited widely both in the UK and internationally, most recently at the Regency Town House for Brighton Photo Fringe 2016 where he was awarded the Danny Wilson Memorial Award.
