Photoworks Associate and Co-Curator of Revelations, Dr Ben Burbridge outlines the role of science in photography.
Dr Ben Burbridge introduces viewers to the forms, techniques and aesthetics used by modern artists. Focusing on early scientific photography between 1925 – 1979, Burbridge highlights innovative contributions from Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Berenice Abbott and Hollis Frampton.
Revelations: Experiments in Photography is on display at the Science Museum from 20 March – 13 September, 2015 and 19 November 2015 – 7 February 2016 at National Media Museum, Bradford.
