Richard Burton is head of innovation projects at energy company EDF. He was previously responsible for strategy and market intelligence at EDF in the UK and has worked across the EDF Group internationally on commercial development and performance and innovation of human resources. He has over 20 years’ experience across areas from strategy, insight, marketing, advertising and brand development, to HR and business transformation. He has held key roles in organisations of different sizes from multi-national blue chips to start-ups. Previously a trustee at the De La Warr Pavilion, he has worked with a number of leading arts organisations on marketing, brand and audience development.
