Together they discuss Roger’s latest publication Human Territoriality.
For three years, the artist photographed places that were once separated by borders. Around the globe and through the course of human history, the series strings together boundary lines that have shifted, completely vanished or that are disputed or challenged today. Some of these borders have shifted over time, by only a few hundred metres or much more, due to climate change or human intervention in the landscape. Others have vanished with the fall of empires on either side.
