I’ve began studying photography in 2010 at Mid Cheshire College before completing a degree in Contemporary Photography at Staffordshire University. During this time I had a lucky break with VICE whom i’ve been working closely with ever since. Their editors gave me a lot of space to help develop my visual style and interests whilst introducing me to a vast network of people that have all contributed to how I now see the world.

In 2015, I moved to London to study MA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. Here, I developed my interest in the blur between fantasy and the real; between fiction and the document.

I started to experiment with how documentary style images could be used and perceived. This course enabled me to make The Duke of Earl – a project about my family and my American identity, which has since been published in Huck Magazine, It’s Nice That and Professional Photography amongst others and is due to be exhibited at Format Festival in March 2017.

Since graduating, I have carried on my relationship with VICE whilst also working for The Telegraph, Google, University of the Arts London, Buzzfeed, Refinery29 and Urban Outfitters amongst others.
