Joelle Elgy's work was selected by Celia Davies at the Middlesex University photography degree show 2014.
Joelle Elgy photographs people close to her. She describes her project as:
‘an interaction between me, my son and the people close to us. I have photographed the emotional connections between us and my perception of our mother/son relationship.He often initiated the photo sessions and I encouraged him to photograph with me. The child is full of a special naivety and innocence. They have honest, worry free relationships and thoughts which I have tried to capture.’
Joelle Elgy is a photographer based in Hertfordshire and London. She has gained a BA in Photography at Middlesex University, and hopes to continue her practice on the Masters program there.
