First floor foyer 101

In this workshop, Gordon MacDonald will ask participants to share their impressions of a fellow participant’s book dummy/proposal by drafting written feedback responses. Each participant should bring a physical copy of their draft book/rough mock up, or edited series of prints (this can be in any form but must contain minimal text), which will be randomly assigned to another participant to consider and respond to in writing. The workshop is intended to allow participants to consider the space between intention, perception and understanding when making a photobook.

No writing skills are necessary, as this will be an informal workshop culminating in a group discussion about the experience and how to take this new understanding into their future book projects.
