Emerging Talent 2026
The Emerging Talent issue of Photography+ returns for its second edition. With more than 1300 submissions from across the world, this initiative still builds on the simple idea that started it: talent does not only come with a qualification. We welcomed submissions from anyone within the first five years of their practice, with or without a degree or postgraduate qualification. The result is a celebration of emerging voices from around the world, bringing together a diverse range of perspectives and approaches to photography.
This year’s jury was composed by Emma Bowkett, Director of Photography at the Financial Times; Louise Fedotov-Clements, Director at Photoworks; Fernanda Prado Verčič, Founding Director of Kranj Foto Fest; Maryam Wahid, Head of Programs and Outreach at Tasweer Photo Festival; and Amin Yousefi, Assistant Curator and Editor of Photography+.
